Adventure with a group of heart-centered community members for an unforgettable week on the shores of the magical Lake Atitlan. Our home away from home is nestled in the mountains of San Marcos. We’ll play, grow and unplug in our open air yoga shala, cozy community space and on-site gourmet cafe, all with a stunning view of the lagoon and its three surrounding volcanoes.

Overview
Our week together is designed to revitalize you and crack you open to your unique potential. The result is a greater sense of clarity and confidence to step into empowered leadership & take leaps in your personal life and business.
You will leave feeling deeply connected to nature and new friends, with tangible tools and practices to take back with you.
A typical day will start with mindfulness practice and energizing movement, complemented by a cooling, restorative flow or activity in the evening. We will bring in experts to teach us other arts and techniques like breathwork and Qi Gong, and lead us in rituals like cacao ceremony, Mayan fire ceremony, and sound healing.
Shoshanna will be leading open coaching & leadership immersive experiences, as well as workshops curated for the group.
All activities and excursions are optional, leaving you with the space to make this retreat your own.
Like all Living Brave experiences, this is an investment in your growth as the whole person, an invitation to grow your global network of purpose-led multi-passionates, and deepen in your own leadership & self-expression.

Venue: Eagle’s Nest
Eagle’s Nest is a pristine, all inclusive sanctuary center in San Marcos La Laguna, a beautiful 15 minute walk from the town center and the lake. Set on Lake Atitlan, known by the local Mayans as the “bellybutton of the world,” the space benefits from the unique energy fields running through the area.
At the base of San Pedro Volcano, this sacred space is designed for personal transformation, authentic self-expression and connection to Pacha Mama (Mother Earth).
“The Nest’s” open air platform, perched above the Mayan village of San Marcos La Laguna, overlooks Lake Atitlan, offering an awe inspiring panoramic view of its beautiful waters, volcanoes and greenery.
Our venue’s artistic lounge, with the same breathtaking view through its large bay windows, is perfect for group dining, socializing and indoor activities.
Eagle’s Cave is a unique sauna decorated in colorful art and heated by firewood, inspired Mayan sauna culture (Temascal). The facilities include a refreshing cold pool and shower.
Accommodation ranges from spacious cabins, bedded tents, private rooms and fully equipped apartments. All structures were built with local natural materials, wood, bamboo, adobe.
Our onsite gourmet cafe provides nourishing meals made from local and fresh ingredients from the tropical climate of Guatemala — using a healthy dose of bananas, cacao, coconuts and panela. You’re free to order anything from clean green smoothies to homemade apple pie.

Location: San Marcos
With our home base just outside of the San Marcos town, we’re close enough to take advantage of its vibrant community and events.
San Marcos is a hub for yogis, spiritual seekers, adventurers, and trekking enthusiasts, making it an ideal place to explore. You’ll be invited to join for optional excursions, cultural experiences, and outings to the nearby town.
November is the beginning of the dry season on Lake Atitlan, a perfect time to appreciate the lush greenery from the rainfall. The temperatures climbs to the high 70s during the day, and falls to as low as 55 at night.

“Best yoga retreat of my life. Adventures, yoga, and relaxing with great people in a beautiful place. Everything being inclusive, and a packed but optional schedule really allowed me to fully enjoy the experience. Plus, the food was diverse, local and delicious!
